doing this will let you choose the STANDARD UNIVERSAL version of drivers in the Drivers.cab. This means you need to select each and every USB item listed (use DriveCleanUp first), mine says Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB Universal Host Controller 2934 (and other numbers at end), right click, properties, Drivers tab, Update Driver button, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), Don't search, I will choose the driver to install. If that doesn't fix it then, why not go into the device manager and try to install the STANDARD UNIVERSAL driver? Lets try this first DriveCleanUp its a neat little tool, to wipe away every device that is USB.
